He said they had an agreement with a previous tenant to collect their mail. The agent called himself Heddi Bsikri. His real name is Yann-Pierre Claude. See photo. All the post was really his. The letters were from Housing Benefit and Job Seekers Allowance. He was fraudulently claiming both. This went on for some time. He must have stolen thousands and thousands. Not surprisingly he has previous convictions for theft. Bailiffs also came round several times looking for him. Everybody connected to this agency is dodgy! He is now working for Foxtons.

If you are a tenant you will never see your deposit money again. They do not protect deposits. They put utility bills into made up names to avoid paying. They also make up names for landlords on tenancy agreements. If you are a landlord we suggest you take back control of your property from these people immediately and use a reputable lettings agency to get your tenants back on new tenancy agreements. They have stolen thousands and thousands of pounds from tenants and landlords alike over many years. Do not give them a chance to steal your rental income. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I was told by my agent that even if I was raped, sexually harassed, beaten by my current flatmate, I still can’t move out because the tenant agreement and landlord only cares about money, they don’t care about my safety. My current flatmate is an abusive bully, he doesn’t take no for answer from a woman who doesn’t like him and doesn’t want to be his friend so he instead takes revenge to bully me and threatens me but the agency and landlord don’t care and do nothing about my safety even though I report the violence to the police.

Extremely complicated and long, but the short of it is that they come into our house whenever they like with zero notice. They don't communicate or respond to repairs that are any less than an emergency (huge leak). They don't answer their phone, or the message, or their email. Haven't tried to get my deposit back yet, but expect it to be a mess. I can see myself ended up in court with these people. Oh and my contract it's legal. It's a sham. Most recently there are rats living in the walls of the house which they will not do anything about. They excused their utter lack of help or communication with "it's tough for them." The list could go on, but yeah not worth it. Choose someone else and steer clear of these people.

Stolen deposit money, unqualified staff, this company should not have a license. This company has caused me significant financial loss and stress over the last 1.5 years. I fuc**ing hate them and warn any potential future tenant to stay well clear. You will be charged for random 'fees' they will lie about what furniture is yours, and give you a lower class service, if they indeed pick up at all. I hope this company is uncovered for the lying and fraudulent practices which appear to be the norm for them, they should not be allowed to operate and all staff should be fired.

rented a room in Canary wharf with £1020 deposit Landlord wanted property back so did not give 2 months notice but i moved out as requested and on the date requested. My deposit has not been refunded 9 weeks later even though thy know there was not problem with the property. we have rang and spoken to staff and the just say they need paperwork from landlord even though they acknowledge if there had been a problem he would have been in touch immediately and hasnt. Now he has property back he can't be *** to compete paperwork! complete rip off merchants never return my calls

I tried to contact them many times over all available means to view some of the rooms they advertise on Spareroom.com but they never got back to me. This is probably luck... if they're so unresponsive in the pre-sale phase I can just imagine how bad their assistance can be. Probably it is worth it to filter out all PML ads and focus on serious agencies and tenants. PS: I read other reviews and found they take long months to revert the deposit, one commenter revealed he had to take a lawyer in order to get it back but this is not my personal experience as I didn't even had the chance to talk to them...

Unjustified fees - reference checks, which are not performed. Lazy staff - we were without hot water and heating for 2 weeks during the coldest spell of last Winter. Lies - made up a cover story concerning their serving of notice. Notice was served because the landlord did not receive months of tenants' rents and council tax was not paid. We ourselves received numerous last warning gas and electric bills Illegality - a housemate of mine had her tax rebate taken, supposedly with the rest of the post, and the agency has apparently 'lost' it Criminality - a member of this agency broke down the back garden door of the property after locks were changed - for protection of self and property - and was even aggressive towards the police officers who arrived. Had no documentation, supposed 'new tenant' didn't even have a contract to reproduce despite moving in at 2.30am - agent in tow. Contradiction - promise one thing, usually don't deliver. They don't want to give you your deposit back. DO NOT RENT THROUGH THIS SHAM AGENCY. They are not a member of any of the main trading bodies. They rarely answer calls. The inventory company they use, is likely trading illegally having been dissolved last July. Didn't stop them coming to complete my 'check-out' in September. The above is merely a SNAPSHOT. I know of others renting with this agency with similar/worse difficulties. AVOID LIKE THE PROVERBIAL.

Calling all landlords and tenants- DO NOT USE Property Match London no matter what or any of their affiliated companies, that you can check on Companies House. I am going through living *** at the moment with them! They advertise on spareroom.co.uk Firstly, they only have one branch at 10 West Lane, London SE16 4NY. Their branch at 55 Millharbour, E14 was repossessed on 25th November 2013. I'm a landlord and I signed up with Property Match London for a 3 year lease, where they told me all bills would be paid, including council tax and utilities and there would be no void periods. Having signed up with them, I believed the management of the property would be well managed, having dealt with the initial agent, Stephanie Henderson. However, the bills were never ever paid. They set up electricity, gas and water accounts under bogus names, I.e. Names of people who had never lived at the property. I queried PML so many times, and would just get fobbed off. Christina Berg and Sandra Bande have been the most unhelpful people ever. They are merely sheep, and will only take instruction from Paulo Afonso, who runs the company. He will only ever call you from a blocked number, at unsociable hours and speak to you with an aggressive tone and never listen. They never resolved my queries regarding utilities. The utilities companies then took it upon themselves to have to install pay-as-you-go meters. My lease ended with PML, as as one would expect - PML would be honorable and hand the property back at the end of a fixed term period. NO!!! They continue to sublet rooms out passed my agreed end date! And, furthermore, Paulo Afonso thinks he has the property for another few years! He is absolutely deluded! I moved back into the property, and he has been round harassing me in the middle of the night, banging on the door and using intimidating methods to try and get into the property. Police had to be called to remove him. Having read the tenant reviews, I feel sorry for anyone that has dealt with such an unprofessional company. I suggest anyone who has dealt with them, report them to trading standards or seek advice from the citizens advice bureau as I believe a lot of the activities run by PML are fraudulent. I will be doing so and will update the reviews with the progress of my complaints.

Property Match London (PML), which lets property in and around the London Docklands, is the worst run estate agency I or anyone I have ever known has come across. They are the very height of unprofessional and more than that, semi-criminal. Ever watch TV shows where shameful building companies rip off unsuspecting victims? This is the equivalent in the London estate agency market. Where do I start... If you rent through Property Match London, expect that they will not allow you to meet the tenants before. You can also expect that they will let anyone into their homes to fill them. The one I was in was occupied by two druggies that consumed drugs on the premises on a daily basis. I informed PML that I did not want to stay in such a property and they offered to show me their 'alternatives', which were all substantially more expensive. After they then failed to show me their alternatives on three separate occasions, I considered suing them to get my money back. First, they then said they'd evicted the other tenants so I could return to the old property. I found out later from another one of their employees that this was a complete lie and that they hadn't even spoken to the other tenants. After I insisted I did not want to move back but wanted my money back, their director, Stoyan Tenev, then started harassing me with phone calls at work, screaming into the phone with his Bulgarian accent that he was going to 'bury me'. Yes, I know, really professional....that's the kind of company it is and the kind of management it is under! He then went into fantasy land saying if I didn't want to stay in his contract he would sue me for all kinds of defamations and try everything to make my life difficult. Furthermore, he also now all of a sudden said that he had gotten everyone on board with written declarations and that nothing I had said previously was true (after having supposedly evicted the other tenants earlier...^^). Again, I found out later that this was completely untrue and that, as before mentioned, the other tenants weren't even spoken to by PML. Unfortunately, I gave in to their intimidation because I had a full time job to focus on so I agreed to see their other more expensive alternatives to have a transition and get this over and done with. After failing to show me around on many occasions where I made myself available, where I mind you had to continue paying for the house I left because they did not want to give me any kind of refund, I finally got to see their other flats. I ended up taking one of their two offered alternatives (it cost over 25% more than my old one) simply to get this over and done with as I had to concentrate on my job at the time. The woman I talked to, Christina Berg, promised me that I could keep the time scale of my old contract with the break clause of 6 months, but that I had to sign a new contract because it was a new property with a new tenant. I said I understood. However, once I wanted to enact the break clause for the 6 month period, she started making excuses saying that that can no longer be done as I am now on a new contract. Additionally, they also want to now charge us for all our water bills at our property, which were previously included in the price, and are sending out new forms for us to sign. It's a bit of a nightmare really.... To anyone reading this, please stay WELL CLEAR of Property Match London. They are crooks! Just like you see on TV shows. They will try to keep you entrapped in a contract, lie to you, raise their prices while you are their tenant, and becoming abusive towards you if you don't agree with their practices. Stay well away! I've definitely learnt from the experience. A business like this is unlikely to survive long anyway, that is something I'm happy about because I'd hate to see someone else go through a similar scenario
